About the Course
Mini Medics is a fun, engaging introduction to first aid for children aged 5 to 11, designed to equip them with simple but essential life skills. At some point, every child may find themselves in a situation where someone nearby is unwell or injured - at home, at school, or on the sports field.
This course helps them understand what to do in those moments, giving them the confidence to stay calm, recognise when something is wrong, and know how to get help quickly.
Through age-appropriate, practical learning, children are introduced to key first aid concepts, including how to identify a casualty, how to call for help, and how to assist safely until an adult or emergency service arrives. Using interactive activities and relatable scenarios, the Vital First Aid instructors guide children through these important skills in a way that is both memorable and enjoyable.
Our aim is to empower children with the knowledge that they can make a difference. Even something as simple as knowing when and how to call for help can have a life-saving impact. This course builds confidence, awareness, and a sense of responsibility - giving children the tools to step forward and help when it matters most.
