About the Course
This course is specially designed for domestic workers, childminders and caregivers in Zimbabwean homes and schools. It focuses on real-life situations they may face while looking after children as part of their work duties or in their own homes.
The training is delivered in simple, easy-to-understand language and teaches practical skills that can be used with confidence in emergencies. From common childhood injuries to kitchen accidents and household hazards, the course ensures caregivers know what to do before professional help arrives.
It also covers safety awareness in and around the home, helping to prevent accidents before they happen. Whether participants have previous training or are complete beginners, the content is structured to be comprehensible, culturally relevant, and reassuring.
